Space is quite often at a premium when building a panel. As such, choosing the correct cable and wire markers makes all the difference to the build’s appearance. When working with Panel Builders, Silver Fox has one goal, to limit the number of idents used whilst maintaining the correct level of information and quality.
Quite often, traditional panel builds of the past use individual character markers to identify cables and wires. This process takes up a lot of time for an engineer and can slow the process down further if idents for a required character run out of stock.
Silver Fox have some simple solutions to combat this challenge. One of which is the Legend™ non-shrink markers. Tests conducted with the University of Hertfordshire showed that it took 4 minutes 38 seconds to print 50 markers on the Fox-in-a-Box®. In the same time, three wires were marked using individual idents. With the advanced Labacus Innovator® software, users can double this output by printing two rolls at a time.
