Set up Labacus Innovator® in 6 simple steps
Follow these steps to download, install, and activate your Labacus Innovator® software. For detailed instructions, refer to the user guide included with your Fox-in-a-Box® thermal label printer.
Download and Install
Download the latest version of Labacus Innovator® from the link above and install it on the PC you intend to use for label printing. When you launch the software for the first time, the main screen will appear.
Enter Your Setup Key
Select Purchase(d) Key from the menu. You will be prompted to enter the Setup Key, which is sent to you by email when you purchase your Fox-in-a-Box®.
Register Your Software
Complete and submit the User Registration form. This ensures you receive your Full Licence Key and free support and updates. If the form does not submit, save the .txt file to your PC and send it as an attachment to our support team.
Receive Your Full Licence Key
Once registered, we will issue your Full Licence Key by email. To ensure uninterrupted access to the software, we recommend completing this step as soon as possible, well within the 14-day setup period.
Activate With Full Key
When you receive your Full Licence Key, copy and paste it into the activation box. You are now ready to use your Labacus Innovator® software with your Fox-in-a-Box® thermal label printer.
Built-in Printer Drivers
Labacus Innovator® includes built-in drivers for the DTP/300 thermal printer. No extra driver installation is required by you. Simply connect your Fox-in-a-Box® printer via USB and you are ready to print labels.

Understanding your Labacus Innovator® licence
Your Labacus Innovator® software licence is linked to a single PC. Here is everything you need to know about how your licence works.
Setup Key (14 Days)
Your Setup Key is sent by email when you purchase your Fox-in-a-Box®. It activates a 14-day trial period while your Full Licence Key is being generated. Enter it when prompted during the first launch.
Full Licence Key
After completing the registration form, we will issue your permanent Full Licence Key by email. Copy and paste this into the software to unlock uninterrupted access. Complete this before your 14-day Setup Key expires.
Per-Desk Licence
Each Labacus Innovator® licence is issued on a per-desk basis, meaning it is tied to a single PC. If you need to use the software on multiple computers, additional licences are available to purchase separately.
Important: Licence Transfers and Reinstalls
Transferring the software to another PC or reinstalling on the same machine may require a licence transfer, which is subject to a fee. If you need to move your licence to a new computer, please contact our support team or purchase a licence transfer. Additional licences for extra workstations are also available.
